The Corfu Reading Society’s invitation to the inauguration of the elevator.

The Board of Directors of the Corfu Reading Society invites you to the festive event for the inauguration of the elevator installed in the Society’s building, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of its Honorary President and Grand Benefactor, Count Spiro L. Flamburiari The event will be accompanied by musical ensembles by the “Mantzaros” and “Kapodistrias” Philharmonic Societies. The event will take place on Friday, 22 September 2023, at 8 p.m. There will be a simulcast on the Society’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@AnagnostikiEtairiaKerkyra

Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Αναγνωστικής Εταιρίας Κέρκυρας σας προσκαλεί στην εορταστική εκδήλωση για τα εγκαίνια του ανελκυστήρα που εγκαταστάθηκε στο κτήριο της Εταιρίας, χάρη στην εξαιρετική γενναιοδωρία του Επίτιμου Προέδρου και Μεγάλου Ευεργέτη της, Κόμη Σπύρου Λ. Φλαμπουριάρη. Η εκδήλωση θα πλαισιωθεί από μουσικά σύνολα των Φιλαρμονικών Εταιριών «Μάντζαρος» και «Καποδίστριας». Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή, 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023, στις 8 μ.μ. Bronze plaque awarded to Count Spiro Flamburiari on 22 September 2023.

The Administrative Committee of the Corfu Reading Society acknowledges that its General Assembly at its meeting, on 6 April 2022, decided to declare the Great Benefactor of the Society, Spiro L. Flamburiari, Honorary President for his extraordinary generosity and his decisive contribution to the modernisation of the Reading Society. Therefore, it awarded to him a relevant honorary bronze plaque on the day of the inauguration of the elevator that was installed in the building, thanks to his help, in Corfu on 22 September 2023.

Η Διοικητική Επιτροπή Γενική Συνέλευση της Αναγνωστικής Εταιρίας Κερκύρας στη συνεδρίασή της, στις 6 Απριλίου 2022, αποφάσισε να ανακηρυχθεί Επίτιμος Πρόεδρος ο Μέγας Ευεργέτης της Εταιρίας, Σπύρος Λ. Φλαμπουριάρης, για την εξαιρετική γενναιοδωρία του και την καθοριστική συμβολή του στον εκσυγχρονισμό της Αναγνωστικής. Ως εκ τούτου, του απένειμε σχετική τιμητική χάλκινη πλακέτα κατά την ημέρα των εγκαινίων του ανελκυστήρα που εγκαταστάθηκε στο κτήριο, χάρη στην αρωγή του, στην Κέρκυρα στις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023.

Η Διοικητική Επιτροπή της Αναγνωστικής Εταιρίας Κερκύρας αναγνωρίζει ότι η εγκατάσταση του ανελκυστήρα και τα άλλα έργα ανακαίνισης του κτηρίου, κατά τα έτη 2016-2023, οφείλονται στην εξαιρετική γενναιοδωρία των Μεγάλων Ευεργετών της Εταιρίας, Σπύρου και Μίλης Φλαμπουριάρη.
